Cholesterol – These are the worst food items for blood cholesterol. You may be over consuming them unknowingly.

Hypercholesterolemia or simply cholesterol (bad cholesterol) is highly linked to development of atherosclerosis. Blockage of arteries because of fat, cholesterol plaque is called atherosclerosis. Atherosclerosis leads to heart disease, stroke, etc.

These foods affect cholesterol by increasing bad cholesterol (LDL) and decreasing good cholesterol (HDL). These foods often have high saturated fats, trans fats and dietary cholesterol.
